Loy Luo is a Chinese-born, New York–based contemporary artist whose work explores the philosophical and cultural dimensions of image-making. Her practice traverses painting, installation, sculpture, and writing, focusing on how abstraction relates to human experience, cultural memory, and metaphysical resonance.

Beyond abstract language, she also works as an action-based artist, engaging with the multiplicity of contemporary art ecologies through spatial interventions and interdisciplinary projects.
