What is the difference between an artist immersed in the state of creation and a primitive man who sneaks into a cave to sketch secretly? They are both trying to express their inner feelings that are not completely clear in some unformed language. They are both instinctively experiencing useless and metaphysical thinking in the process of creation, that is, vague thinking about self-existence and its relationship with the world, although they may be making something with some functionality.

I think "before  the word" is a very important expression, which hides the opportunity for the birth of philosophy and art, similar to a kind of reduction method. The words here refer to the words of human civilization, and also metaphorically represent the artistic language with independent characteristics of artists. It is also related to the writing background of Eastern artists who focus on individual experience. Here, the individual experience contained in the writing of words is a huge driving force for the awakening of human civilization, and will also become a powerful symbol of the future "after the word" to fight against the universal language of machines.(Loy Luo)
